How
can I pay and when will my balance be due?
By bank transfer to our Croatian bank account
(details of which are provided on confirmation that a booking
is accepted). The balance is due at least 6 weeks prior
to departure.
What
channels does the satellite TV include?
A number of English speaking channels are
available including some childrens' channels. We have also
provided a dvd player in case you wish to bring any dvds
to watch.
Are
books provided in the villa?
Yes, a small selection of books is provided for your
use. You are welcome to keep a book if you have not finished reading
it but we would ask that you leave a replacement book for other
guests to read.
Are
linen and towels provided in the villa?
All bedroom and bathroom linen is provided. You will
need to take your own beach towels to use around the pool.
Is
there maid service?
Yes - one service a week.
Can
we go into the villa before 4 pm on arrival?
The official time for entry to the villa
is 4 pm.
Is
a welcome pack provided?
Welcome packs (at extra cost) can be provided
upon request when booking - our agent will provide a list
for shopping purposes.
Can
we stay in the villa later than the confirmed vacating time
of 10 am?
This is not possible as the villa will need
to be cleaned and prepared for the next guest.
If we hire a car in Italy, can we drive to Croatia?
Check
with the car hire company, as some do not allow it. Most
of the leading car hire companies will allow you to drive
to Croatia and should issue you with proof of insurance
for travel into Croatia in case the Croatian authorities
ask to see it.
Where
do I pick up my villa keys?
The keys will be available for collection
from our agent's office in Istria, a short drive from the
villa.
What
are the passport and driving license requirements abroad?
All passengers must carry a valid 10 year
passport with at least 6 months left before the expiry date.
Standard UK driving licenses are fine.
Is
there an iron and ironing board at the villa?
Yes. We also provide a clothes airer and a washing
line for your use.
Is
there a telephone at the villa?
We provide a telephone for incoming calls
(for international only) and also for making local calls
(i.e. if you want to call to order a pizza for pick up or
our agent). We also provide broadband internet if you wish
to bring a laptop (or similar device) for internet calls
or internet browsing.
What
is the size of the pool?
Approximately 8x4 metres, with rectangular
Roman steps at one end.
Are
the gardens and pool maintained?
The pool and the gardens are maintained on
a regular basis. Neither pool nor garden personnel have
fixed hours, so it is not possible for us to advise you
of the exact date or time of their visit. We ask for your
cooperation when our staff visit, as it is imperative to
keep the properties well maintained for our clients’ enjoyment
throughout the year. Our pool and garden personnel have
keys to the front gate and so will endeavour to keep any
disruption to a minimum.
